Appearance: Large black she-cat, yellow-green eyes.
Personality: A quiet observer to the Clan, not much for small talk or conversation. Selectively mute. Prefers facial expressions and tail signals to communicate but will force herself to speak if able.
History: Was born in ShadowClan to warriors Shadefoot and Petalmoth. Shadefoot, her father, was killed by a badger before she was an apprentice. Her mother, Petalmoth, died while she was an apprentice under the warrior Flowerheart. Was named Hollymist for her ability to stalk silently over any surface, like creeping mist.
When the Clans were destroyed, everybody Hollymist loved was killed with it. She'd just ended up stumbling after her Clanmates and had just accidentally fallen in with the other Clan cats. Soon they were one Clan, following after Sunfishfins who kept them moving and kept their hope alive.
They settled on the beach, now known as OceanClan under Sunfishstar. And while the hole inside Hollymist's heart will never quite heal, for now it's scabbed over with time.

Name: Riptide

Appearance: Large black she-cat, yellow-green eyes.
Personality: It takes work to get past his anger. He's a good cat at heart, willing to protect the young and the abused, but he's just as willing to lash out at anybody who gets too close. His trust is hard to earn, and his temper is easy to get.
The best way to get on his good side is to insult the Clan cats that had settled on the beach. Using the phrase 'an enemy of my enemy is my friend' isn't COMPLETELY accurate, as Riptide doesn't really DO friends, but it's the closest he gets.
History: Riptide was born to a loner she-cat named Turtle. She was all he had, since a father had never been in the picture, but that was okay. Turtle was all he needed.
She played with him as a kit, and she taught him how to hunt and fight and survive. When the time came for Riptide to leave him, become his own cat, he was reluctant. Turtle convinced him to leave, and he promised he'd come back soon and tell her everything he saw.
Riptide left his childhood home and traveled. Never too far, never far enough to completely lose the smell of the salt water, but enough that he gained some valuable life experience. He'd met cats and learned their story, he'd fought cats for prey and foxes for survival, and on one memorable occasion got stuck in a twoleg nest and had to claw his way through a broken, rotted out slab of wood.
Finally he turned his paws homeward, excited to meet with Turtle again. He got within a day's journey when he ran into what was unmistakably a scent line, and he was confronted by four cats he'd never seen before. They told him the land had been claimed by OceanClan, and he had to leave their territory.
Riptide made the mistake of putting a SINGLE PAW over the border, intending on just asking about Turtle, when he was attacked. He barely escaped, and it took days for him to heal enough to hunt again.
That one meeting was enough to make him hate OceanClan. He's spent the moons since then harassing their patrols and testing their borders, trying to find weak spots. To what end, he's not sure. He just wants his mom.

Appearance: Long-furred light gray cat.
Personality: Being a newborn kit, his personality isn't all that fleshed out yet. So far he's proven manipulative and cunning, but that's only been when the stakes were bragging rights for games. Who knows how this will come out when he's older?
History: One of four kits born to Belugabelly and the deceased Lionpurr. Brother to Squidkit, Barnaclekit, and Stingray kit.
