Sunfishstar blinked her eyes at the morning sun, she got up and walked through her den, it was time to chose a deputy after almost a month of leader all the clan by herself and of course the apprentice ceremony of Pumpkinkit, she was old enough and she was going to be the first apprentice ceremony of this clan so she went outside and looked at her clanmates, they were all working, some hunting, others taking care of the kits or preparing the dens to all cats to be confort. The grey she-cat needed to work too and harder to get all the clan working well and the first thing is putting all in order by a meeting and of course chosing someone to help her too "Cats who are old enough to hunt their preys, come and reunited below the great shelter!" The she-cat waited pacientely to everyone to do what she has just said.

At the call of Sunfishstar, Howlingwolf approached to her and smiled warmly before taking seat around all the cats who where around.
Pumpkinkit excited looked through the entrance of the den, knowing that it was her time to get her ceremony of apprentice, she looked around the camp to see if she could guess who her mentor is going to be.

The brown tabby apprentice came out from his den at the call of the current leader, he wasn't interested anything about the gathering, he knew that this gathering isn't nothing about him and he wanted more to sleep because of the sun high patrol the tom had later than to stay awake just for Sunfishstar say a few things but it was his dutie to stay there even if it was the thing he most hated in that moment.
So he went where his mentor was sitting, he greets his mentor with a quick tail whip and sat next to him looking at the leader waiting for her to talk while he licked his chest.

Hollymist had tucked herself away to the side of the camp, carefully picking at the mouse at her paws. Each bite she took was a dainty thing, meant to prolong the experience of eating and enjoying the flavor.
Movement from the corner of her eye made her glance up from her fresh-kill, and the sight of Sunfishstar heading toward her usual spot for announcements had her perking up. Hollymist forewent enjoying the rest of the mouse and gulped it down in two speedy bites. By the time Sunfishstar had called the Clan together, Hollymist was already heading toward her.
She settled a few tail-lengths away from Howlingwolf, giving the large cat a polite yet distant smile before turning her attention toward OceanClan's leader.

When the grey tabby leader saw that cats where coming towards her, she prepared to talk and let her nervous aside, even if it wasn't her first meeting on the clan it was her first ceremony and she hope to make it correctly but not before looking where Pumpkinkit and Oakkit was as the ceremony was going to be principal for them, the leader took a deep breath and started talking.
"Oceanclan cats we gather around to witness an important moment for the clan, as it is the first time since this clan has been created to let pass two of our kits to apprentices" She looked at the nursery, the brown and orange pelt of Pumpkinkit and the brown spotted pelt of Oakkit could be spotted just from there "please, Pumpkinkit and Oakkit take a step foward" She gave a warm smile to the two kittens that in no longer they are going to be apprentices.
(Don't mind me if I add a character that I was creating with Howlingwolf but never mention it right?)

Pumpkinkit ran when she heard her name and sit beaneath the site of Sunfishstar announcments to name her apprentice and give her a mentor and didn't stopped looking around to see what cats could possibly be her mentor.

The small brown tom felt nervous when the Leader called his name, he tried to calm himself down but all the attention of the clan was on him and he felt even more nervous when his sister went ahead leaving him alone, he tried to not show his emotion but he couldn't and nervously he got below the great selther, the rock where the leader made her announcements, and look up.
Oakkit wasn't excited on who was going to be his mentor unlike his sister, he was just trying to don't make anything wrong because he was just in the front of everyone in the clan.

Howlingwolf saw his two siblings going out to their apprentice ceremony, he still remember his own and could understand his little brother; Oakkit being that nervous, he wasn't different. He would like to train one of his siblings but he already was training Pipitpaw.

Hollymist smiled at the two kits as they passed by her. Her own apprentice ceremony had seemed so long ago that she could barely remember it. Part of her wondered if she'd be chosen to mentor one of them, but knew it wasn't likely.
With her selective inability to talk, training an apprentice would be difficult. Not impossible, of course. Hollymist had been like this her entire life and she'd learned just fine. But it would be harder on the young cats to have a mentor that couldn't verbally praise them.

Cricketblaze hadn’t been all that far away from camp when Sunfishstar called for them to gather. He'd actually been on his way back with a squirrel he'd caught in his jaws.
His paws hurried back to camp and he entered just in time to see Sunfishstar summon the kits. The squirrel was chucked unceremoniously toward the fresh-kill pile and he scurried to sit beside Howlingwolf with a grin. "I miss anything?" He mewed.

Howlingwolf was looking at his little siblings that he didn't notice Cricketblaze coming, he only did when he talked Ow, no, they're going to be named and who their mentor is going to be just now He whispered showing a little smile to him before looking again to the ceremony.

Sunfishstar watched all her clanmates seeing and talking about the kits but she had to interrupt it with a quick tail whip to countinue with the ceremony "Pumpkinkit, Oakpaw" She started talking when her clanmates stopped talking "you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, Oakkit will be known as Oakpaw and your mentor will be Vulturewood. I hope Vulturewood will pass down all he knows on to you" She watched with a warm smile to the new apprentice.
When all stayed in silence again she looked to Pumpkinkit "Pumpkinkit will be known as Pumpkinpaw and I will be your mentor and I hope I can pass all I know to you" She came down from the great shelter and came to meet her apprentice, she touched noses with the new made apprentice and looked to her warmly.

Most cats would have been disappointed to not be named a mentor, but Hollymist had to breathe a sigh of relief when her name WASN'T called. She approved though of the mentors chosen! While the Clans changed Oakpaw's and Pumpkinpaw's names, Hollymist took to stamping her paws on the ground, an uncommonly open expression of happiness and pride on her muzzle. She didn't know the kits, now apprentices, but she could still be happy for them.

Cricketblaze hummed in acknowledgement of Howlingwolf's words, Sunfishstar's gesture calling for silence. That didn't stop him from gently bumping his shoulder against Howlingwolf's with a mouthed 'thanks'. The mentors were announced, and though he hadn't expected to be named, he still had to stifle the disappointment. That didn't stop him from raising his head and chanting the two 'paws names. "Oakpaw, Pumpkinpaw! Oakpaw, Pumpkinpaw!"
