There was a tension in the air that heralded a storm. A literal storm, actually, for once. Hollymist stood on a boulder, one found at the top of the bluff the Clan made their home in.
Dark clouds were billowing on the horizon, threatening to creep closer and closer. The wind was already picking up too, and Hollymist had to unsheathe her claws and grip the stone to keep from being knocked off.
Yellow-green eyes narrowed against the wind, watering slightly at the sting but refusing to close. If the storm got too close for comfort, she'd go report to Sunfishstar or the deputy and they'd evacuate the camp.
Pawsteps sounded below her perch. Hollymist didn't turn away from her vigil, but twitched an ear toward her Clanmate to indicate she'd heard them.

Wintertail hesitated for a moment to go outside, the strong wind could easily make her blown away, but the over crowded warrior den just made her fight againts the storm to take some fresh air and be a bit alone so she made her way out of the clan and sighed in relief when she was completely alone...or not?
The colorpointed warrior jumped suprised when she noticed the black pelt of Hollymist, she knew that she was really good at hunting and she made no sound but not that literally that she didn't even noticed she wasn't in the warrior's den and that she was just by her side "Hi! Hollymist" The she-cat started talking nervously from the fright.
"What are you doing here outside?... the wind is so strong don't you think?... you are going to be dragged to somewhere even Starclan doesn't know if you stay outside" The white she-cat tried to be the most kind that she could to her clanmate trying to fight against her introvert personality and giving some argument for the two she-cats to talk together even if the sentences between each other had no sense.

Hollymist's ear twitched again as the approacher called her by name, but the abruptness of the greeting meant Hollymist had caught her off guard. How, Hollymist had no idea. She was just sitting there.
She didn't recognize the voice right away though, and Hollymist glanced down at her, turning just enough to look at her fairly new Clanmate while still facing the direction of the oncoming storm. It took a fair moment, a few heartbeats, but Hollymist eventually recalled her name. Wintertail, formerly of RiverClan. Also Sunfishstar's sister, if Hollymist recalled correctly.
Wintertail questioned what she was doing there, commenting on the strong wind. Hollymist gestured with her head toward where the storm was gathering, returning her gaze to the clouds and pointedly narrowing her eyes at them. 'Watching the clouds. Waiting.' she conveyed silently, hoping Wintertail could interpret that herself.
Then Hollymist shuffled to the side of her stone and patted the warm spot she'd left with her paws, smiling down at Wintertail in invitation. 'Come, sit. Welcome.'

Wintertail relief completely when the she-cat looked at the clouds and the colorpointed warrior followed her glance "It's going to rain really bad" The she-cat said for herself to look again to the black warrior and accepted her invitation of sitting by her side "I just hope that the camp doesn't become flooded, in Riverclan when this rains came the river was impossible to cross even by the most skillful warriors of the clan".
The colorpointed she-cat wrapped her tail around her and yawned, probably she shouldn't be thinking about that things maybe something related to the crazy weather this last month has been occuring, no...no... "You have something in mind or you just wants to sit here for all the rest of the day?" She tried to sound as kind as she could but her clanmate being that quiet made the things more difficult for her, just maybe Hollymist had something to talk of?, dunno.
Wintertail wasn't extrovert and she overthinked a lot her next comment and what if she lets the past Shadowclan warrior say wathever she wants? Maybe it is a bad idea...uhhh... why is so hard to talk to other cats?!

Hollymist nodded in agreement of Wintertail's words. She remembered the river, though she'd never quite gotten a good look at it herself. She'd been told stories though, by the elders of the old Clans and the current, singular Clan. She glanced in surprise at Wintertail's question, an unsure expression on her face. Not over thr question itself, but the tone used. It was obvious the other warrior was doing her best to be nice, but there was a strain in her voice that Hollymist couldn't detect the reason for. She hoped it wasn't because of her. Hollymist didn't have many friends anymore, not yet, and she didn't want to alienate a potential friend before they'd even gotten through a single conversation. Figuring she should actually answer this time, Hollymist cleared her throat in preparation to speak. Hopefully her voice wouldn't give out if she avoided straining it. "I watch. I warn Clan." she mewed, already feeling her vocal chords fighting against her. She huffed in frustration with herself and went back to her wordless communication. Nudging her Clanmate slightly, just enough to get her attention, Hollymist tilted her head with an exaggerated curious face, rolling her paw toward Wintertail herself. 'What about you?'Enderwoxxu

Wintertail knew she was making a bit unconfortable this conversation for Hollymist, she wasn't the best talking and the black she-cat don't saying nothing made it worse so she needed to talk somehow...
The colorpointed she-cat suprised nodded at the words of her clanmate, even after all the clans were destroyed, she thought the past Shadowclan warrior was mute, maybe because before that she didn't have a strong connection with any cat in Shadowclan but it was nice knowing her clanmate wasn't completely mute but she still thought Why does she never talks?.
Wintertail let her thoughts apart to pay attention to the black she-cat when she rolled her paw "Well... I went outside just to take some air..." The past Riverclan warrior looked at the clouds for a bit and looked again to the she-cat "But with this weather I don't know what it's worse if staying inside the warrior's den with a lot of cats or fighting outside to not get blown away by the wind".
