Cardinalwish smelled the air, he could feel it was going to be a great day with a lot of prey, he went out in a hunting patrol with some clanmates but as he usually does, he hunts by his own and later on he disappears and get lost, but hey, this time wasn't as awful as other ones, this time he could catch two mices and it wasn't even sun-high but where was he? Lost. The territory was new to him and if it was hard for him to orient in Thunderclan territory how is suppose to orient in a new territory, but was useless, like Oceanclan didn't had much enemies than rogues or loners, the marks weren't as prominent as it was at Thunderclan so he could be in a new unexplored territory and he couldn't tell. Squirrel, It was the only word in his mind, it was lost? Yeah, but if you can have a great meal, he doesn't care he couldn't see his clanmates anymore, after all, his family and loved ones were in Starclan, so he won't mind living as a rogue or loner. He started approaching to the squirrel when it fled from a noise, he turned around to see what it was... Shiny

It wasn't that Cricketblaze HATED hunting. And it wasn't that he was bad at it and therefore didn't want to try! He was passable. At least passable enough to be put on hunting patrols.
Still though it was obvious how much effort he WASN'T putting in. He caught everything he tried to, but the problem was he wasn't trying very hard. He'd caught two mice but walked right by a squirrel, putting no effort into stalking it and hunting it.
It frustrated the patrol leader enough that when fellow warrior Cardinalwish wandered off, Cricketblaze was sent off to find him. He followed Cardinalwish's scent and was perplexed when it wandered. The only concern he felt came when the trail wandered close to the border, but Cricketblaze relaxed when it steered away.
The scent was getting stronger, and Cricketblaze quickened his paws, brushing through undergrowth without worry or care, more interested in finding his Clanmate than worrying about disturbing his hunt.
He saw the tail end of the squirrel scurry up a tree trunk before he spotted Cardinalwish, who had turned to look at the disturbance. "There you are!" Cricketblaze mewed, relief causing him to sigh. "I was getting worried I'd have to send out a search patrol to find you."

Cardinalwish growled fae has lost a prey and even if the clan wasn't in the middle of leaf-bare and were in need of prey or some weak cats could die if they didn't ate anything, to Cardinalwish losing a prey could be like losing a familiar cat, so dramatic I know, loves to be like that, even if fae was frustrated. Fae decided not to be rude to the young warrior after all it wasn't his fault for serching for faer and faer horrible sense of orientation, so fae stood up and greeted faer clanmate.
"Hello Cricketblaze!" He meowed even if the two Thunderclan's cats in the past lived in the same clan, Cardinalwish never actually had any conversation with them more than a few meows to each other because of coincidence or in a patrol, and when Cricketblaze talked fae flicked faer ears and approached him with curiosity "Why do you worry?! I would just returned in some minutes! {or days}" Fae wishpered the last part trying that Cricketblaze wouldn't hear it.
But Cardinalwish changed reaplidly the theme of the conversation to not making Cricketblaze think much about it "Why don't we go where our clanmates are waiting for us? Come on!" Fae started walking through where faer clanmate appeared even if fae didn't knew the way back home "I'll eat a delicious mouse when we arrive to the camp!".
